The Spell to Create Additional Time
Greetings.
Well, as you can see, I'm still not in the habit of blog journaling everyday. I'm still working on that spell to create additional time in the day.
Each day, I get up, perform my morning Goddess devotion (candle, incense, prayer, requests, etc.), let the dogs out and give them breakfast, do a bit of cleaning (dishes, laundry, picking up, trashing dumping, etc.), check/respond to emails, do any necessary banking/bill paying, check the weather and traffic reports (I have an hour commute), make/pack lunch (in an effort to eat better and healthier), take a morning ritual bath and get dressed, let the dogs in, load the car, get gas if necessary, run errons if needed, drive to work (make calls in the car to get the best use of the commute time), work 8-10 hours, then go to workshops, book interviews, gym, board meeting, maybe eat dinner, etc. (whatever happens to be on the agenda), get home 10 p.m. or later, fix a late night dinner if I have not already eaten an evening meal, clean up some more (hey you gotta do it or the place is a reck and you'll spend all weekend cleaning!), check emails, let the dogs out, go through the mail, return phone calls if it is not too late or schedule them for the next day, etc. By this time it is midnight, and if I'm not too exhausted I might get some writing or lesson work done. I then work in an evening ritual or some magick depending on my needs and spend some time taking care of myself. It's now 2 a.m.
This is my typical weekday. Did I mention that I also have a partner, Todd? He fits into all this somehow. I do cut back on certain tasks at time to make more time for him and/or the writing and magickal work as I focus on what is important. Afterall the housework, laundry, bills, etc. will always be there.
Most of my magical work these days is related to my writing projects. However, I am dealing with an issue and will be creating magical entity to work with and solve the problem. More on that later...
